Personal Ethos
Billions of people worldwide will experience the joy of music throughout their lives, a universal language that connects us emotionally and spiritually. Music inspires, encourages us to dance, and bridges the gaps between us, connecting us to our deepest thoughts and memories. While its origins and creation may seem mysterious, music is a beautiful blend of mathematics, complex ideas, and deep emotions.
Musicians develop fine motor skills through years of dedicated practice. My students learn to put the best construction on everything. With focused study and unwavering commitment, we can discover moments of human brilliance and artistic excellence that deserve to be celebrated and shared.
By learning to recognize the nuances of sound, listeners can engage more deeply with music. A well-trained ear enhances one's appreciation for diverse genres and enriches our overall enjoyment. Music is a precious gift you can share, cherish, and pass on to future generations, ensuring its magic continues to inspire us all.

Meet the Teacher
I have 18 years of formal training in Classical Piano Performance and approximately five years of teaching music theory and composition. I began playing the piano by ear at age 5. My brother, a classical flamenco guitarist, recognized my potential and selected my instructors for the first 13 years of study. I received a full music scholarship at Houston Baptist University in Piano Performance. I studied for 5 years with Dr. Andreas Klein, Steinway Artist in residence.
Mastering a musical instrument requires intensive concentration, attention to detail, and abstract thinking. I love playing jazz, jazz improvisation, teaching theory and composition, and I have experience teaching across all genres. I can offer valuable insights to individuals planning to pursue Music as a course of study or profession. I am also experienced with the details required for songwriters, composers, including those wishing to produce and distribute their work commercially.
I enjoy working with people from all backgrounds and relate well with anyone with an interest or appreciation for music. Sharing the gifts of invention and sound has led to many rewarding and fulfilling experiences for my students and me personally. The transformative power of music is something I've witnessed firsthand, and it can bring hope and inspiration to all.
